Fact that you don't live on the soapbox. I don't either. What bothered me was that i offered a question on a left based position...mostly out of curiosity and a desire to understand. Instead, i got more questions initially and not one answer to what i believe it's a pretty straight forward question.
I very much agree with your thoughts on young kids and CRT and not understanding the nuance. And with that, there are examples of an abuse of that in K-12. Is it widespread...rampant...probably not. But it is too much and trending the wrong direction in my opinion. I have 3 kids in school for what it's worth...3rd, 5th, and 6th.
What I have said in this thread is that before a productive conversation can occur on the merits of CRT in schools, what is age appropriate, the pos/neg, etc, we have to start from an honest place...and the statement of "it's not in the schools" is not an honest start.
